MISSOURI STATE D.A.R.E. CONFERENCE - 2008

  • The DARE (MDOA) State Training Conference was held in St. Louis during July 28 thru August 1, 2008. Approximately 100 officers attended this educational opportunity.

  • During the MDOA Training Conference, 60 officers received training in the Over the Counter (OTC Drug Abuse Program.  This is a new enhancement lesson that D.A.R.E. America has developed to aid communities with recent trends of prescription drug abuse by our youth.  The addition of the 60 trained officers will complete the MPCCF goal of 150 officers trained by the end of 2008.  At the end of the September DOT, we will have trained over 200 officers on this lesson.
