MPCCF MISSION : It is the mission of the Foundation to engage in activities that seek to educate, and promote quality and professionalism. The primary purpose of the Missouri Police Chiefs Charitable Foundation is to involve itself in charitable activities directed to the youth of Missouri and those less fortunate. Primary also is the promotion of continuing education for its members What is the MPCCF: The Missouri Police Chiefs’ Charitable Foundation was formed and incorporated in 1996 as a charitable foundation. It is a not-for-profit 501 C3 corporation which was formed to provide assistance and service to citizens and law enforcement. The MPCCF provides services such as citizen training, law enforcement training, and serves as an informational hub at the local, state, and national level. The MPCCF maintains a ongoing program entitled Operation Boot Strap or more commonly referred to as Corporate Training Alliance. The Corporate Training Alliance is a national program administered by the MPCCF which initiates alliances between corporations across the United States. These alliances then are developed to a point at which peace officers across the United States are given the opportunity to attend training conducted by member corporations.
What Does MPCCF Do For The Families of Fallen Officers? The MPCCF focuses on providing support to the families of fallen Missouri peace officers. The MPCCF receives a call when an officer is killed in the line of duty. The MPCCF quickly obtains basic information regarding the tragedy and information needed to get in contact with the family. The MPCCF gets in touch with its closest members and sends initial financial support to the MPCCF member in closest proximity to the fallen officer’s family so that the financial support is delivered in person to the family. What Training is provided by MPCCF? The MPCCF provides regional, statewide, and conference training opportunities to the law enforcement community. The MPCCF provides a wide range of law enforcement training including Diversity Training, CPR, Fist Aid, Domestic Violence Awareness and Response, School Violence Prevention, Corporate training opportunities and much more. The MPCCF’s goal is to provide high level training addressing sensitive issues to enhance the law enforcement profession. It believes that a well trained officer creates a professional officer, which in turns provides excellent service to Missouri’s citizens. TEAM WORK The MPCCF believes in teamwork and cooperative efforts between citizens and the law enforcement community. It strives and exists to perpetuate training which includes both Missouri citizens and the law enforcement community. Only by working together can we ensure a safer tomorrow for our children.
